~ The precious liquid
It was supposed to be the light, a happiest memory of my life, but
rising darkness went to the wings of the steel wings of the beast and
doomed us all. If I knew that would happen, I am sure I would not go to
the meeting in Egypt. When the airplane crushed and was covered by warm
sand of the desert and hot sun beams that were melting during each
second. I was sure we are dying, as we are during each second from our
birth. There were only two people, and only one bottle of water, me and
Angela, two lucky ones that survived the crash, neither can live while
the other survives, it was obvious. Our situation was not the one you
should dream of, certainly it was the one when we needed more luck than
usually. I was a gentleman, I gave her the water, the precious liquid
we need to live, she looked like she needed her more than I do. My body
was weak, like a worm that had to linger through hell. The hell was the
sun, source of all life, not death, which will in this case be. We were
walking for three days, nothing. No water, no people, no life... Then
we heard the warm sound of same steel beast that brought us to the same
ordeal. It was our lucky beast... It just has to look down and spot us
first.
